GoGo squeeZ is launching a nationwide on-pack promotion with Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, targeting the back-to-school snacking surge as families return to routines.
The limited-edition packs, featuring characters from the upcoming film, will hit shelves in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Ocado, and Amazon starting the week of August 17. The promotion covers the brand’s five core 360g kids’ fruit snack multipacks, priced at £2.55.
Bright packaging and instant-win prizes
The promotional packs are designed to stand out on shelves, with lively Toy Story-themed packaging aimed at grabbing shopper attention during the busy back-to-school period. The brand, which has grown 55.1% year-on-year, is positioning the campaign as a way for retailers to boost visibility and sales in the kids’ fruit snack category.
Shoppers who buy participating packs can enter a competition for a grand prize: a family adventure in London, including a two-night hotel stay, a private toy store tour with a £100 gift card, a sci-fi-themed afternoon tea, and a Toy Story merchandise bundle. There are also 1,000 instant-win prizes up for grabs, with entries limited to one per person per day and a maximum of 10 per person.
This isn’t the first time GoGo squeeZ has partnered with Disney. The promotion is part of an ongoing annual licensing deal, supported by consumer PR, social media, and in-store point-of-sale materials like aisle fins and barkers.

Marketing manager Oliver Richmond said the back-to-school period is a key sales opportunity for the brand. “Our limited-edition packs combine the nutritious, convenient snack parents trust with an exciting promotional mechanic that adds fun to everyday snacking,” he said.
A healthier snack option
The brand’s fruit snacks are made from 100% fruit with no added sugar, providing one of the recommended five daily servings of fruit in a resealable pouch. On average, they contain 70% less sugar than many other children’s lunchbox snacks, according to the company.
GoGo squeeZ has carved out a niche in the UK’s fruit snack market, where convenience and health claims often compete for shelf space. The Toy Story 5 tie-in reflects a broader trend of snack brands using licensed characters to appeal to both children and parents—though the effectiveness of such promotions can vary depending on the film’s popularity and timing.
The promotional packs will be available while stocks last, with no confirmed end date. The brand has not disclosed how many units it expects to sell during the campaign.
